    Title: “The Born Free Adventure”

Synopsis: The Born Free Adventure starts in Kenya, in the early 60s, when the charity’s President, Will Travers OBE, was a young boy. His parents, the actors, Bill Travers MBE and Virginia McKenna OBE, were filming what came to be the namesake film Born Free. It told the true story of Elsa, the orphan lioness, who was successfully released back in to the wild by conservationists George and Joy Adamson. Though the Travers family’s compassion and dedication was born in Kenya, today the charity works on a much larger scale. Born Free works tirelessly to tackle the illegal wildlife trade, end the suffering of individual wild animals in captivity by relocating abused animals to its sanctuaries and, continues to protect wild animals in their natural habitat.
